Why Antenatal Visits Matter, Even When You Feel Well

Many expectant mothers only come to the hospital when something feels wrong, but antenatal care is most valuable when a pregnancy still feels normal. Regular visits let our midwives track blood pressure, growth, and position early, catching warning signs like pre-eclampsia or breech position while there is still time to plan safely.

We recommend a first antenatal visit as soon as pregnancy is suspected, followed by regular check-ups through each trimester. High-risk pregnancies, including those involving multiple births, prior complications, or health conditions like diabetes, are monitored more closely by our maternity team.

Our maternity ward has 10 dedicated beds and skilled midwives available for delivery and postnatal support, day and night.
